Purpose

Working Capital

Working capital is a measure of both a company's efficiency and its short-term financial health. Micro loans assist the business to achieve a positive ration and the disbursement should be straight forward.

Equipment Purchase

Income generated with the purchase should be enough to meet the repayment schedule.

Group loans

Qualifying Group

• Group size ( 3-5 members)
• Age and gender (women 21-65 years)
• Type of business (commerce, service, production, agribusiness)
NB: Group selects its own members. There will be group testing before registration followed by verification and basic business skills mentoring.

Documentation required

• Certified copy of Omang
• Thusang Basadi membership fee with an active savings account
• Completed and checked application forms (First Loan application form & Group Members Loan application form)
• Completed and signed acknowledgement forms

NB: The first loan will be paid back in 5 months, while second loan will be paid in 6 months and third loan will be paid in 9 months.

INDIVIDUAL LOANS

Qualifying individual

• Individual women borrowers who have accessed loans during the first few years of the credit program.
• One that have graduated from the group methodology having accessed the 3 group loans and have been introduced.

Documentation required

• Certified copy of Omang
• Thusang Basadi membership fee with an active savings account
• Completed and checked application forms (First Loan application form & Group Members Loan application form)
• Completed and signed acknowledgement forms

NB: the first, second and third loan cycles are payable in 9 months. The fourth and onwards are payable in 12 months.
